Capital Wine & Spirits was founded in February 1995, when the Charmer Sunbelt Group, at the request of Suppliers, purchased Spatola Wine & Spirits. In October of 1995 Capital Wine & Spirits purchased another independent broker, Superior Wine & Spirits, which represented major wine lines. This acquisition made Capital one of the largest brokers in Pennsylvania. Capital moved to the Superior office and warehouse facility in November 1995. Capital relocated to our current warehouse facility in North Wales in March of 2002.
